- Change the quality of tessellation to anything you want by clicking on the space properties button (white sheet of paper on bottom).
- Double click with the node select tool on a node to attach a new, identical, node to the same blob.
- Double click with the node select tool in open space to create a new, separate blob.
- Delete a field by clicking the Edit| Cut (scissors) button when the node is selected and the Node Select Tool is enabled.
- Delete an entire blob by clicking the Edit| Cut (scissors) button when a node on it is selected and the Select Tool is enabled.
- Adjust the shape an individual node takes in space by clicking on the field properties button (white sheet with red blob on bottom).
- You can create as many camera views as you want. Use the split button (top tool bar, looks like a cross) to create four views.
- You can open as many views by clicking the new window button (top tool bar). Each of these may be split into up to four cameras.
- Setup many different camera views while you are working. This will speed up your model creation time significantly.
- Right button drag with the Select tool to rotate the model.
- Left button drag with the Select tool to move an object around in space parallel to the viewer.
- Right button drag with the Node Select tool to rotate the model.
- Left button drag with the Node Select tool to move a node on a blob around in space parallel to the viewer.
- Use the Rotate/Zoom tool and the left and right buttons to zoom in and fly around in a model.
- Double right click when a field is selected to open the Field Properties Dialogue.
- Double right click when a field is not selected to open the Space Properties Dialogue.
- Center the camera on the centroid of the model by clicking the center button on bottom (looks like a scope).
- Make any color you want in Silly Space by clicking on the "C" for Custom Color on the color toolbar.
- Silly Space .S3D files are amazingly small. If you do not believe it, take a look at the size of one of the ones you create.
